“Openness in our society leads to the acceptance of our differences.”

Which in turn, eradicates otherness by celebrating them rather than erasing.

Hey, I’m I’Sha Schultz-Spradlin, nice to meet you.

“Wait girl, WHAT?! I thought you were Eyesha?” My bad sis, I guess that CAN be a lil confusing. I’m both, I’m I’Sha a married millennial in my 30’s with a passion for helping people + I’m Eyesha, a banshee ass persona with a knack for telling truths w| a laugh, a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and an entrepreneur. I’m a multi-faceted Black queer woman who exists as her fullest self, pretty simple. With nothing short of crazy circumstances I’ve been blessed to live a very fortunate life. I always say it was due to the kindness of strangers and others who also have a passion for helping others. Ever since I was a little girl I vowed to do for others what I was so fortunate to have done for me. I grew up in NJ + PA then moved to Detroit immediately after college to work for the Ruth Ellis Center and organizations that works to create a supportive environment and community with LGBTQ+ young people.

I want to help more marginalized groups by providing access. First locally, then statewide, then nationally and Universe willing, globally.

I consider myself a social justice warrior with opinions that are shared loudly and passionately.

Telling it “like it is” sometimes gets me in trouble, but I’m not above apologizing or admitting I was wrong. That’s not to say my opinions are right and can’t be questioned. I enjoy open dialogue on EVERYTHING, but primarily when it comes to politics.

Open dialogue fosters openness within our society.

Openness in our society leads to the acceptance of our differences. Which in turn, eradicates otherness by celebrating them rather than erasing them. Maybe I’m too optimistic or maybe I just truly see the potential of people; either way I want to do whatever I can to bring that potential to the forefront. It all starts with open dialogue and the removal of barriers to resources. Resources and the access to them vary from person to person as well as community to community.

So, that’s me, that’s the brand. A Black queer woman trying to save the world, typical lol.
